A great lover of trees since I was a small child, perhaps I was always destined to fall in love with an arborist. Though part of his job is removing trees or in some cases just dismembering them, I know that his true passion is in their health, preservation, and replacement. One for one.

A southern girl, I’m particularly fond of the Live Oak. There’s just something about those ancient, towering giants looming over a backwoods route to nowhere…
